Hey guys, I’m Amy the owner of That Darn Pineapple Creations and I just wanted to say how excited I am you have found my website!
My business consists of a variety of handmade and creative products.
I laser cut, paint and assemble all my door hangers myself.
I also offer DIY kits, paint parties, personalized cutting boards, wooden décor, yarn animals, leather patches and more!
A little about how That Darn Pineapple began for those (like me) who love to know all the details on where their handcrafted items come from.
A fall caused me to be out of work for several weeks one winter. During that time I asked my husband to cut me out a pineapple shape to paint because I had never used a jigsaw.
I painted it on Christmas Day 2019, posted it in a group and people went nuts! From there I made pieces as I could for friends and family for awhile.
May 2020 brought a job loss for me and not being able to find a decent job in the middle of Covid, I jumped full force into the creative industry!
While searching for a business name, someone asked how I started and I told them the information above and ended it with
IT ALL STARTED WITH THAT DARN PINEAPPLE.
They say Creativity takes Courage but it also takes a slight nudge from God to see what’s right in front of you. If I can bring a smile someone’s face with my creations, then I know I have done my job!
